Turning Tilehurst Red

06 November 2018

We were more than happy to decorate our window to support the amazing work of the Tilehurst British Legion, to mark the end of 100 years from the end of WW1.

This is such a good idea, bringing the community together. Everyone has done a fantastic job. A beautifully painted wall by the plough pub, local school, such as park lane covering a bicycle in poppies. Tots at Tilehurst Methodist church created hand print poppy wreaths, co-operative overdown road with their flip flop poppy made by 8th Tilehurst Brownies, children designing and painting rememberance pebbles to place around the local area. Everyone from C&G hardware, Jo joes hairdressers, village properties estate agents, village butchers, have all made such a good effort.

Very proud to live and work in Tilehurst
